2 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 08/15/2006

When pulling a travel trailer with my 2006 f350 sd Ford on cruise control at hwy speeds (70 mph) on a hill the truck will lose speed to 65-66 mph the torque converter unlocks and the vehicle will accelerate to 74-76 mph still on the hill. Cresting the hill it will return to 70 mph. Ford says this operation meets design specs. And will do nothing to fix my truck. I get strange looks from drivers trying to pass and my vehicle accelerates 4-6 mph over the speed limit. 100 failures is a guess.
