Instrument Panel Speedometer/odometer problems of the 2011 Ford F-350

Odometer fraud. The contact called on behalf of his client, who purchased a 2011 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while the client was in the process of selling the vehicle to a dealer, the dealer retrieved the carfax report and informed the client that the odometer had been rolled back and that the vehicle could not be sold. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of the purchase, the mileage was 128,530, and a dealer later informed the client that the mileage on the carfax report was 345,000. The current mileage displayed on the odometer was 147,000. No other agency was contacted.
