Tl the contact owns a 2013 Ford F-350 sd. The contact stated that the front passenger side mirror had a failure with the electronic function not working properly, when maneuvering and adjusting the mirror with the control buttons. The dealer townsend sales & service (340 main st, townsend, MA 01469, (978) 597-8955) was notified of the failure numerous times when the vehicle was taken to the dealer for servicing but they had failed to determine the cause of the electronic failure. The dealer indicated that they had serviced the mirror under a warranty but provided no specific analysis of what was diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and they indicated that the vehicle was out of warranty. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, provided no recommended remedy for the dealers repair other than for the contact to take the vehicle back to the dealer for servicing. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 27,000. Dyd.
