1 Tire Pressure Monitoring System problem

Failure Date: 03/07/2016

I was on a vacation trip to daytona beach FL. From the dallas, TX area. I have a dual axle RV. This brand new tire (towmax) on the left side of my RV had less than 700 miles on it when it exploded. I was traveling at no more than 65mph. The tire pressure was checked before I left and it was at 80psi. The second tire on the right side of my RV had less than 1100 miles when it exploded. We could hear the explosion in the cab of my truck. We had not been on the road for more than 20 miles. Again the speed was no more than 65mph and the tire pressures were checked at 80psi before I left. I also had tire pressure monitors on the tires. If the second tire on the same side as the failed tire had blown, it would have rolled the RV. Someone could have been killed.
