After inspecting the vehicle, the contact noticed white smoke coming from the batteries. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact replaced both batteries. The dealer was informed of the failures and confirmed that the batteries were not covered under warranty. The vehicle had not been taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
