The contact owns a 2024 Ford F-350 sd. The contact stated that the power windows independently rolled down while the vehicle was parked, causing water to enter the vehicle. The dealer was notified of the failure and performed an unknown remote software update; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the power window master switch replacement was recommended. The vehicle was not repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving and towing a trailer, the message "trailer not connected" was displayed, and the trailer exterior lights and brakes were inoperable intermittently. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 26v104000 (electrical system, exterior lighting); and the vehicle was taken to the dealer, who performed the recall repair; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the integrated trailer module software update was performed a second time; however, the failure persisted. The contact was informed that the integrated trailer module needed to be replaced at the owner's expense. The contact stated that the recall repair failed to fix the vehicle. The dealer notified the manufacturer of the failures, but the manufacturer denied assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
