The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-350 sd. The contact stated that while driving approximately 75 mph when they attempted to decrease the speed on the adaptive cruise control system, however, the speed of the vehicle increased about 70 mph. The contact turned off the cruise control when the instrument panel began to light up however the adaptive cruise control had continued to be active. The contact had to press the brakes for the adaptive cruise control system to deactivate. Once the system had been turned back on it functioned has normal. The contact had not taken the vehicle to the dealer. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 5,000.
