The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-350. The contact stated that him and his wife were going down the highway at approximately 60 mph, no warning lights had illuminated, and the contact was pulling a small trailer with two horses. When suddenly a bystander driving alongside the contact shouted toward the contact yelling that there were sparks and fire coming from the front end of his truck. The contact was able to pull off onto a side a side ramp in order to park their vehicle and exit immediately. Upon exiting the contact noted that he had attempted to open the hood of their vehcle however he was unsuccessful in doing so as the hood had become too hot to touch from the fire brewing inside. The contacts stated that he and his wife were able to unload their horses from the trailer just in time, as the whole truck burned down in the span of ten minutes. The origin of the fire was the engine, and the contact stated that it was most likely a fuel fire. The vehicle was unoccupied during the fire. The contact stated that no injuries were sustained by any individuals. The location of the fire was the front end of the vehicle. The fire department had arrived to extinguish the fire. A fire department report was filed. A police department report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The remains of the vehicle were towed to a local towing company's lot.
