Unknown Or Other problem #2

Vehicle shakes violently. Only way to get under control is to stop completely. This has happened numerous times. I have read on forums this is a major problem. Ford needs to recognize the problem and issue a recall. This is very dangerous.

Unknown Or Other problem #3

My truck starting losing power little by little over a short period of time. The check engine light came on & I took it to the Ford dealership. They advised me that the egr system was failing & the cost is $2500. 00. They also told me that Ford knew about the problem & should have recalled this problem. . Now I can't drive my truck without worrying about engine failure (until it's fixed). . Interstate travel is just about non=extistent for now. . I will not let my wife drive it anymore for now. . . This truck only has 75,000 miles on it & for now is not safe to drive anywhere but short distances. . .

Unknown Or Other problem #5

I bought my 2008 f350 truck from carbone Ford on April 25, 2010. At the time, the truck had after market window tint on it. Rather than remove the tint, they directed me to another inspection station so that the truck would pass by rolling down the windows (it failed once). 1 year later, I have the same issue again. This time however, I have learned that the truck they sold me was actually involved in a rollover (not properly disclosed). When I bought the vehicle, I knew that it had been in an accident. I told them I needed to know what happened before purchasing it. They said it just hit a snow bank and no big deal. They actually called someone to confirm this. They are not willing to fix the vehicle and are offering me only a very small dollar amount. Meanwhile, the windows are still tinted and it will not pass inspection. Jeff (I believe a manager there), instructed me to go to a garage that carbone worked closely with in the past. He told me to tell them that carbone sent me and that they would pass the vehicle even with the very dark tinted windows that came on the truck. They are selling vehicles that do not pass inspection, and then finding ways around it so that they don't have to fix them. I was told that if I try to get the inspection, I will get a red rejection sticker and will not be able to drive the truck anymore.

Unknown Or Other problem #6

I have a 2003 Ford f350. At 100000 miles a factory sparkplug ejected from the motor. At 129000 just lost another.

Unknown Or Other problem #7

Rusted oil pan on a 1995 Ford f-150, so I traded it and bought a F-350 2002 and it has the same problem? along with plenty of others? at this time nothing has been done to fix the problem, working on that.

Unknown Or Other problem #10

The Ford f350 1995 thru 2003 models have the signal turning arm attached to the steering column just above the left knee. When giving a left turn signal the left leg is in the way to turn the signal light on. The left turn signal can be turned on with the left leg lowered in a very awkward fashion and the bright lights activated, this is not very safe driving with the bright lights activated while waiting to turn on a two lane highway or at a stop sign at a four way stop. When giving a left hand turn signal with the lights on dim the left leg pushes the turn signal off every time leaving a person on a level road stopped in the street with no brake lights activated and no turn signal operation unless sometimes he has his bright lights on with oncoming traffic and is holding their left leg at a very awkward position . When turning on a upward incline hill, riding the clutch to keep the truck still while waiting then this is for sure no left signal will be working due to this keeping the left leg high on the clutch . I have written and called a lot of Ford dealers to address this problem and they said with no recall then big deal!!~. I was told to just keep my brights on all the time . I just wanted a new turn signal arm that was turned up instead of turned down towards my left leg. If the turn signal was straight like most cars then plenty of room is available! who let this slip by?.

Unknown Or Other problem #11

Unknown Or Other problem #12

While driving the 2002 f350 super duty pick-up truck we purchased on 7/15/05, with only 26,000 miles on it, the throttle quits working. The engine stays running, so we do not loose the power steering etc, but when turning left it went out & we could not get out of the way of the oncoming traffic. Thank goodness the cars were going slow enough that they could stop. It happened 7/24/5, 5 times in 1 hr. We contacted the Ford dealer & they said we were out of luck. To put it on the computer they wanted to charge us $90. 00. We only had the vehicle 9 days & they will not do anything about it. To us it is safety related & should be addressed by the mullinax Ford dealership in amherst, OH.

Unknown Or Other problem #13

While driving , the CO nsumer noticed the odometer was not working. No particular speed was noticed at which this has occurred. Consumer did note it works when stopped at a red light then accelerating past through the red light the odometer began to work again after a complete stop but this was intermittent.

Unknown Or Other problem #14

My question is this, why are the recalls that I retrieved from this site different form the ones I got from alldata. For example this site found one recall and alldata had five recalls that came up using the vehical VIN#.

Unknown Or Other problem #15

The heat blanket liner attached to the underside of the hood is being rubbed by a bolt that sticks from the engine compartment, causing a hole to be rubbed into the blanket, making pieces of the blanket shread into the engine compartment.

Unknown Or Other problem #16

On December 7 2003, our 2003 Ford 350 truck while driving down the road at 55 miles an hour, pulled sharply to the left causing us to spin out of control. We hit a ditch on the left shoulder of the road, causing the truck to flip over onto the right side. We ended up in the middle of almond trees. We had our 1 year old granddaughter with us. We've informed Ford it was a mechanical problem, but as yet all they've done is start the body work. We would like to know what caused the truck to go out of control. We feel lucky that we weren't killed or that we didn't cause the death of another family. What worries us is what about the next time, will we all be so lucky.

Unknown Or Other problem #17

While driving, the spare tire cable broke, releasing the tire into oncoming traffic. The spare had never been used. The bottom "bell shaped" end of the cable sheared off.

Unknown Or Other problem #18

The "door ajar" dash light is on often. No doors are open. The interior and exterior bed light are also light up. This problem comes and goes-often. I have four young kids, it is a big safety issue when I see the lights come on heading down the freeway.

Unknown Or Other problem #19

The consumer stated the speedometer stopped while driving. The driver was unable to determine the speed of vehicle. The dealer had been contacted.

Unknown Or Other problem #20

Folder cover on back of truck flew off while driving 50-55 mph. Dealer and manufacturer were notified.

Unknown Or Other problem #21

From delivery, abs and check engine light intermittantly stay on. El;ectrical system sometimes 'stumbles' and looses voltage. . . As if it is going to stall. . Then it corrects itself until the next time driving is very difficult at times due to poor front shock/spring setup. . Must fight to keep on road at times. I have had to place 500 lb. Weight in rear to improve this somewhat.

Unknown Or Other problem #22

2002 Ford f350. Consumer request additional information on complaints for vehicle in regards to moving spontaneously from park to reverse.

Unknown Or Other problem #23
