Two problems related to tire pressure monitoring system have been reported for the 1999 Ford F-550. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Recall 00 v 046 000. Recall states that there should be a 12 feet inflator to inflate tires. However, Ford does not provide inflator device. Consumer feels if someone were injured, the responsibility would fall on him , therefore consumer does not wish to comply with the safety regulations until the inflation devices are provided.
Recall 01 v 046 000. The recall states that there should be a 12feet inflator device to inflate tires; however , Ford does not provide device. Consumer feels if someone were to get hurt it would be his responsibility, therefore consumer does not wish to comply with the safety regulations until the inflation devices are provided.
