Tl- the contact owns a 2004 Ford F-550 super duty. The contact stated that while the link was in the air with a worker in the bucket, upon lowering the link it fractured with no warning. The workers bucket came down with force causing injury to his head, back and pelvic area. The worker received further medical attention due to the failure. The vehicle was not inspected and diagnosed to determine how the failure occured. The contact stated that the VIN was included in an equipment manufacturer recall for a broken link failure but they did not send notification due to not knowing where to send the recall letter.
