Air Bag Light On problems of the 2015 Ford Fiesta

My airbag light is on and there is no reason for it to have come on. The car has 85000 miles on it and warranty doesn't cover it. I think we have an issue here of its not covered under a warranty through Ford up to 65000 miles. This is a huge safety issue. It only comes on and stays on when car hoes into drive.
