I was involved in a hit and run accident where I ended up hitting a large wooden pole and wall . My seat belt failed also my steering wheel airbag did not deploy even though I hit the pole and wall head on . All my other airbags deployed but it didn't stop my chest from impacting. The steering wheel and my right knee from smashing into the dashboard. The car was inspected by law enforcement and by my insurance company geico. Geico still has the car because it was a total loss.

Car accelerates shifting weirdly, airbag light came on after a few days of signing the lease. I believe this is something that needs to be checked out. The rpm jumps up and down while idling. I feel like this car is very new and shouldn’t have engine problems. Has been routinely maintained.
Air bag light on intermittently, then recently it's been continuously on.

12/4/2023 while attempting to pull into a parking spot in a parking garage car suddenly accelerated forward at a very fast rate, just prior to acceleration felt like it shuddered. Afraid that it would keep going and go over edge so I pulled to the right while trying to brake and hit a concrete barrier. Terrifying! October 23, 2019 another couple had this happen in another parking garage downtown indianapolis and they were killed. Car went over the edge. Must have been on my mind! have owned this car since 02/23/2022, no problems whatsoever, checked out in September of this 2023, all maintenance up to date. Weather was dry and floor pads were not in way (bringing this up because I was asked this by a friend). Been driving 50+ years and never had a car do this. Hit the front drivers side of the car, air bags did not deploy, but the insurance company totaled my car. The capitol police happened to be in the garage at the time making rounds and were on the scene in seconds from when it happened. Luckily that morning I decided to park on the upper level of the garage and no one else had their car damaged and nobody was hurt including myself. Just prior to trying to turn into the parking space the car had been traveling uphill to the 5th floor - going very slow. A lot of people walking and other cars around trying to park. Don't know if this has anything to do with it but on Tuesday, December 19th, another employee had the same thing happen in the same garage. Her car was a different make and model and was not damaged hardly at all but her airbags deployed! the only thing in common is same garage and there has been extensive construction going on in the garage for months now. Not trying to get anything out of this but this could have had far more serious consequences if this had happened at one of the half dozen intersections I went through that morning before arriving in the garage. Lucky no one was hurt or killed. Apparently this happens a lot!.

My Ford Fiesta suddenly exploded the seat's ventilation and my seatbelts tore off, so I crashed into a semi at the speed of 191 km/h.
Car shutoff while driving on the highway.

I was lost and hit a turn to fast cause my car to launch and roll into a concrete ditch multiple times off a freeway turnaround. My airbags never deployed.
On April 11, 2021, the 2015 Ford Fiesta I was driving unintentionally accelerated into a commercial building at a shopping mall. The car had two incidents of accelerating while applying the brake prior to the final incident where the car ran into a wall and was totaled. The car had never exhibited any braking or acceleration issues before this day. The first incident, I was slowing down to go over a speed bump. As I was applying the brake, the car jerked forward then stopped. It drove as normal through traffic for the next 8 miles. I was close to my destination, as I was applying the brake at a stop light, the car sped up and stopped when I pulled the emergency brake. Again, the car drove fine for the next mile. I was very aware while I was pulling into a parking space. Neither the brake or accelerator was applied as I was coasting into a space. As I applied the brake, the car sped up, jumped the curb and accelerated into the side of a building. According to a witness and supported by pattern of skid marks, at one point the car was airborne. With the distance of about 15 feet between the curb and wall, there was little time to react. In my attempt to pull the emergency brake, I injured my thumb. My passenger sustained various bruises from the seat belt and the front dashboard. Neither the driver nor passenger airbags deployed. According to the black box report, the car accelerated from 0-100% in the final 5 seconds and the brake was applied at 10%-55%, yet the car continued to accelerate. I did not remove my foot from the brake until after the car impact, which is supported by skid marks shown in photos. In August 2019, Ford motor was aware of a transmission clutch shutter issue, but still proceeded with selling the car to an auction. One month later, I purchased from a dealership.

The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but did not provide any assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 84,000.

All 4 door airbags spontaneously deployed while driving. The air bag deployment knocked me unconscious and I woke up on the shoulder of the road. The vehicle dialed 911 after the incident occurred.
Driving down the road. . . Abs, brake, tsc lights kicked on and the car jerked to the right-hand side and slowed down about 10mph. . . As I kept going it lit up again and jerked hard. . . As I got speed to about 55mph did it a few more times before I finally shut the car off and had the dealership come get it. .
On August 5 I fell asleep and ran into the back of a truck stopped at a light. My knee air bag deployed but the steering wheel bag did not and the shoulder belt did not deploy causing me to hit the steering wheel very hard bruising my sternum and causing surrounding muscle inflammation that is still sore today.
I was recently in a car accident where the steering wheel air bag was activated and metal fragments came through the air bag an cut my head open. My accident was head on impact with a stationary dwelling. All windows were fully intact upon and after impact. Upon retrieving my items from my vehicle I took notice to all these metal fragments in the vehicle.
This goes with incidents 11500972 & 11500985 2015 Ford Fiesta se purchased 2. 8. 18 crest Ford in center line, mi from my other reports, car has had all kinds of issues. This is 3/5 and these are all accidents. In early 2019, I was coming home from a medical appointment in the morning. I was the 4th car, sitting at the busy intersection of 9 mile and kelly, which was on 9 mile, going west. The light was red. I had my seat belt on, like always, my foot on the brake, looking straight ahead at the light. Suddenly, the car shook, like as if a semi was going by, but no one was moving. And even tho my foot was squarely on the brake, the car took off, like someone had pressed the accelerator peddle! quickly I pressed as hard as I could down further on the brake, but it didn't matter. The car kind of jumped, then took off, again, like someone was had stomped on the accelerator. I was in the right-most lane, I slammed into the sedan in front of me, which shoved his car off the road, up the edge, and onto the sidewalk, so I was almost sideways. I was horrified. My air bags did not deploy. The man driving and a 2nd man got out, they were furious, screaming what was wrong with me? I didn't know how to explain that the car took off on its own, while my foot was on the brake! he was yelling and screaming, luckily his air bags didn't do off either. This dented his bumper, but he didn't have insurance, didn't want to get the police involved or make a report, which was fine with me. Since, I have been very cautious stopped at lights, always expecting this to happen again, and it has! not as dramatically, but sitting stopped, foot on brake, no rhyme or reason, car suddenly jumps, accelerates. I thought I must be going crazy, I've never heard of a car doing this. Well reading the reports of the Ford Fiesta problems, I see other cars doing this too. I won't take it across like a bridge, imagine it accelerating over the side into the great lakes. Very dangerous.
My airbag deployed after an accident burnt my left hand and then caught on fire and was burning and then deployed after it burned. I was driving the car when I had the accident.
I just bought a used 2012 Ford Fiesta and I realized after buying it that the odometer isn't working at all. The transmission also isn't working properly. When I start the car, the 1rt gear won't go into shift so the car stutters and shakes. I took the car to a Ford dealer but they insisted that the car doesn't have a recall for the transmission. I know that there is a consumer class action suit against Ford due to faulty transmissions built into these make and model. I have contacted a lawyer and I am waiting to hear from him. I would like to file a formal complaint. Thank you. P. S: I do not know what type of photos or documents you would like me to upload do please contact me with more information with this regard.
My son hit slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting the car in front of him who had slammed on their brakes, hit a patch of black ice and slammed directly into the rear end of the vehicle in front of him. Only the air bag by his feet went off. None of the other air bags deployed. The seatbelt also did not lock up immediately. He sustained a concussion, left shoulder injury, neck pain, and bruising to his chest and abdomen from the steering wheel. He had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. The car is totaled and is in a salvage lot on hold for a week in case you want to look at it.
I stopped at a red light and was rear ended in an automobile accident and my air bags didn't deploy.
Lost control of car. First impact was a tree stump as car was turning, hit tree stump. She went forward and hit head on stirring wheel. Air bag at steering wheel did not inflate or deploy. Only side door on left side filled with air. Second impact car tilts over then airbag on side door inflate. The car was in motion, on a residential street.
I purchased this car as a private sale for $4,000 dollars, I had the car less than a year and suddenly the car stopped on the highway. Come to find out the transmission is no good. Doing some prior research before there was a recall on the 2011 Ford focus and Fiestas about the transmission being no good. Prior before the car stopped working all together I was dealing with a lot of hesitation the car shutting off in slow down traffic and bucking. I also did car fax and found out that there was indeed a recall for the transmission. Also finding out recently that the latches for the door was recalled and as well as the air bags that hasn't been fixed.
Takata recall - on Tuesday 25th of June, thecar started slowing down and acting a little weird. No matter how much I gave it gas it went into turtle mode and cut off. I towed it to darcars Ford in lahnam, MD. The two warranties on the vehicle expired so I bought extended warranty. The warranty company is telling me they don't replace clutch barren- shift fork a- shift fork b and seat belt light which is on. Now I haft to pay 180. 00 dollars for a diagnostic test and it still needs another test for the seat belt light. What am I to do if Ford does not help with this problem.
I was in an accident with my 2011 Ford Fiesta and I was hit on the driver side of the back of the car. The car slammed into me and caused my car to spin and then the car flipped and rolled. The car landed upright into a muddy, grassy field. The air-bags did not open upon impact. I was traveling on the interstate going 60 mph. The car that hit me must have been going 85 mph.
I was in a car accident on 10/13/2018. I was struck on the drivers side, back of my 2011 Ford Fiesta. My car spun around and flipped and rolled. During this time the air bags did not open. I was traveling on the interstate when I was struck going 60 -65 mph. The car that struck me was going much faster, 80-85 mph. I am wondering why my air bags did not open.
