This Ford Fiesta has many problems I have spend over 1300 dollars this car has many safety issues. The doors poped open while driving this car. I contacted Ford and the representative was not caring she stated it's out of their warranty . I explained to her that the doors came open with my two year old in back seat in a car seat could have fell out. I also told her the car stopped in the middle of the road. It's something wrong with the transmission on this car. This vehicle is not safe and I would like this looked into. I was traveling on a highway all american in fayetteville nc.

Got in am accident. Was hit on my passenger front side. No airbags deployed. Not even my curtain airbags. I was in motion at time of accident. I was on a city street.

My traction control off keeps coming on with the check engine light also and my blue tooth on the steering wheel won't work . When the traction control off comes on I loose power in my pedal and acts like it doesn't wanna go.

Went to stop hit the brake peddle and the car did not slow down, I pumped the brakes then hit them again still the car did not slow down, I impacted the rear of a truck, a fire started under hood in front of the driver's side at the windshield area, the steering wheel air bag didn't deploy nor did the seat belt lock, causing me to hit the steering wheel with my chest. Car was traveling aprox. 35 mph.

Airbag does not work. Left rear door latch broke for no reason. Brakes are not good. Air conditioner is failing.

I just bought this car 7-23-16 a month later the air bag popped up after I got gas and its been on for entire time and its still on now .

A few days ago I was in an accident, the damage was significant and the car totaled, there were several hits as the car was being bounced from one vehicle to another at highway speed, one of those vehicles being a semi. I was unaware about the Ford Fiestas having a recall on the transmissions. My car hesitates , jerks and hard to accelerate. It is very dangerous for me when I'm driving on the highway to school and to work and also it has been at Ford service center many times for them to tell me that's just how Ford made the car and just accelerate more.

I was driving at about 35 miles an hour when a person made an illegal u turn in front of me. The impact was in the dead center of my car. The air bag at my feet deployed but the one in the steering wheel did not. I had severe bruising from the impact with the steering wheel and the seat belt. I have pictures of the impact and the lower air bag deployment without the steering wheel air bag.

Took my car in twice for the tcm and it's even worse. Shuddering, electrical failures,loss of engagement while driving, and worst of all Ford is denying me service until I put another 1,500 miles on the car! not sure if this is even legal. Trying to press for a lemon law now.

Our daughter was in a 3 car accident. There was bridge construction and all of a sudden traffic went from moving at highway speed to stopped. Directly ahead of our daughter was a refrigerator truck. My question/concern deals with the air bag system. The driver knee airbag deployed, the steering wheel airbag did not. Is that possible? are there situations where it is appropriate for the lower bag to deploy without deploying the steering wheel air bag? the seat belt did stop her, although it left a large red mark on her shoulder. If the system worked correctly that is fine. We would like to hear from someone with expertise in this area to make sure that there is nothing faulty in her car. If needed we can supply photos to show the exact damage. The vehicle is at the dealership now for repairs, so the mileage is a good estimate. Thank-you for your help.

The contact was unable to determine when the part would become available. The contact was still experiencing the failure. The vehicle was also included in NHTSA campaign number: 12v488000 (air bags). The dealer was unable to determine when that recall repair would be performed. The dealer did not notify the contact that the recall needed to be performed. The contact reported the failure to the manufacturer and was waiting to determine when the two recall repairs would be performed. The vehicle was still at the dealer to be repaired for the door lock failure and still waiting for the software update for the air bags. The approximate failure mileage was 92,000.

My daughter driving the vehicle, ran off road. Over corrected. Vehicle over turned end over end several times landing on side. She had to be removed through the windshield. Not one air bag deployed. She has a badly broken left arm requiring surgery to repair. She suffered multiple contusions and a concussion. The vehicle is a total loss.

Driving on the highway at 65 mph car looses power you cant accelerate it hesitates and wants to shut off at times it does it wont go up hill and when approaching a stop light hesitates and shuts off you start it back up fine and it wont go transmission fails its automatic transmission does it once transmission warms up.

We were on the highway while it was snowing. All of the other vehicles were slowing down because there was an accident blocking off the highway. Eventually we all came to a stop. After we stopped there was a yukon that was unable to stop because of conditions and its load and hit us from behind. He was probably going 35 mph. Green Ford in north carolina has serviced this vehicle several times as well as 3 times I have had it in for repair and it is still not repaired. If they put it on the computer like they said they would have caught that the thing was unplugged as did the dealer that has it now.

In a car crash on July 6, 2011, a 2011 Ford Fiesta was hit by an oncoming car while the Ford was making a left hand turn coming out of a parking lot. This car is a convertible and I would have never purchased it if I would have known the kind of jeopardy that I was placing passengers in every time they ride in my car. The trouble is that you can be hit at any time and having the passenger airbag not working at various stages of normal driving is not acceptable in the least. I own other makes of cars with similar systems and have no problems. I did a search on the internet and found a lot of other people who have had this problem and they have posted their video on line documenting the problem.
