My 2005 Ford 500 some times the dash quits working radio heat that stuff is fine but the dash it's self rpm speedometor gas gauge all the dash quits and when that happens the airbag light comes on because when the dash quits so does the airbags that is a saftey and should be a recall.

Driving when the call rpm drop and abs goes out car won't excelerate "failsafe engine mode " is what it says n my check engine light and abs light and rench light on, had to pull over and shut off and turn back on. Cleaned the throttle body and reprogramed the computer and it continues to happen at random and will randomly excelerate on its own with rpms rising and yet I'm no where near gas pedal, I'm on brakes. As my instrument panel will malfunction and all gauges will go to zero and wiggle and all warning lights will be displayed them goes completely black, this has also been very unsafe of an issue because at night when this happens you can't see your spend or gas or anything. And the fail-safe mode also has almost cause me to have crashed as well as been crashed into over four dozen times. Seeing how I pay for it to be fixed and nothing can't seem to fix it . . . It's very scary and I worry for my life each time I drive.
Cluster constantly gives out, there is a recall in place for the 2005 version which has the same issue but not the 2006. The cluster has been replaced twice already, everything suddenly stops working have received numerous tickets at this point for going over the speed limit because of this issue all cluster gauges stop working there is no way to no how fast you are going.

This is not the first time I have complained nor am I the only one having this issue. I bought the car back in 2010 and informed the car lot of flickering lights well now its gone as far as my whole dash lights flicker and when they come back they do not come back correctly all the time. My gas gauge doesn't register properly. This happens when I run the ac. When I had it checked I was told that it had something do with battery. The alternator is pulling too much power when ac is on. Well if I am not the only one having this issue I don't understand why this is not getting a better settling besides OH I think it is this or I think it is that. I have searched youtube and there are a lot of ppl having this issue. A whole lot of ppl. I am going to go have my battery checked again and take back to car lot again and hope to have a solution. This is getting really ridiculous and bad. I can run my ac for may 10 minutes without this happening and once I do the car doesn't wanna run properly after. Please look into this and reach out to other owners and see if they are having same issues. Maybe they don't know how ot reach you like I did.

From the day I bought the car the a/c has not worked properly. It only cools at highway speeds or when temperature outside is less than 70 degrees, the engine has never idled smoothly and water collects in the doors. The main issue I've been having is that it surges at stop lights and totally shuts down going down the road. Motor, gauges everything shuts down sometimes for 8-10 seconds. This is sporadic and more common when the a/c is in use. I have had the throttle body cleaned and reprogramed several times with no change what so ever. I just had a new one installed and it shut down on me within 1 mile of dealership. It has been very frustrating to say the least. I've been saying it is something with the a/c since day one but all they wanted to do is replace the throttle body. I am at my wits end and just want it fixed!.
