My back up camera is all fog. I see that other years for the Ford Flex have a recall for fog camera. I believe that it is a safety issue and my auto should have a recall for the camera also.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Flex. The contact stated that the rear review camera failed to operate correctly intermittently, and without warning. The vehicle was not yet diagnosed nor repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and suggested to the contact that he needed to perform a software update with the flash drive that he had purchased. The contact stated that the failure recurred and caused several other software related failures. The failure mileage was approximately 97,000.
