The contact owns a 2005 Ford Focus. While driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle stalled, all the electrical functions seized, and the engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was merged to the side of the road and towed to the dealer. The technician diagnosed that the alternator failed. The vehicle was serviced, but the remedy failed to repair the issue. The contact stated that the failure recurred intermittently. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 86,000.
Intermittent stalling issues with my 2005 Ford Focus wagon. It will stall without warning both going over 50 mph and idling in traffic. It has been back to the dealer 4 times with no resolution and is going back in 2 days.
