Restraint module went bad and after I looked it up online this was a recall for my year make and model.

Seat belt does not retract on its own, seat belt locks randomly and does not retract fully making it loose.

Drivers seat belt is hard to latch and comes unbuckled.

4 issues: 1. The car pulls back under acceleration. 2. The seat moves back suddenly (seat belt issue). 3. When starting the car, the car drives instead of reversing. 4. There is a squeaky noise.

Driver seatbelt is stuck and doesn't budge. I think I saw an old recall regarding this possibly. . . Since I've owned the car it hasn't came u jammed not at all a single time. Not even moved an inch. I sprayed wd-40 down to it and nothing. . .

In a rear end accident the airbags never deployed. The seat belt also didn't catch me and my chest hit the steering wheel. I pressed hard on the breaks but it didn't feel like it was slowing down. I now have a fractured sternum and cannot drive or work. I have filed insurance claims and been to the hospital. No one was in the car with me. There were no warning lights/signs before.

Unable to control vehicle in light rain conditions. Steering took me straight off the highway into a steel wire fence. Totalled the car with massive front end damage. Seat belt did not lock. Knocked window out with head during impact. The only airbag to deploy was the knee airbag, shooting the hard plastic straight into my kneecap.

The seatbelts in these cars do not retract. After it is buckled, it sits loose on the person wearing it. Is an accident, the seatbelt will provide no help, causing me, or one of my passangers to be hurt. 3 of the 4 belts in my car are basically useless. This is not only an issue in my car. I've noticed after working on several of these cars (ide assume from the years 2012-2018) they don't work. I have several friends and relatives with a model in between those years, and it can be duplicated in their cars too. This is a major issue, and needs to be addressed in all models of this vehicle.

The buckle for the front passenger and back driver do not work properly. The buckles will not latch. It has not been confirm by a dealer because when I called to ask about repairing it and cost for parts I was told the part is discontinued and there is not another option for a replacement. 2 of the 5 have stopped working in the last 3 months. It puts my life and other passengers life's in danger every time it is driven due to not being able to put on a seatbelt. There was no warning just one day they would not buckle, we have tried different remedies and suggestions to fix the issue but nothing works and they need replaced.

Back latch that makes the seat fold down won’t snap back into place.

My 2017 Focus rs (build date 20 March 2017, purchase date 16 June 2017; 30234 miles) had the srs light illuminated on the dashboard. This started as an intermittent issue about a year ago, and progressed to the point that recently the light is always illuminated. Ford provides for a "safety restraint system" warranty period of 5 years/60 k miles; my car is still within this coverage period. I decided to bring in the car to my local dealership gosch Ford escondido in escondido, CA to have it inspected and repaired. A technician evaluated the issue and provided the following diagnosis on the service report: "verified airbag light, checked codes, found b0061:13 in oscm for passenger pretensioner, performed ppt, found pretensioner to be internally open. Need to replace pretensioner. " however, the service department contacted me to inform that the repair would not be covered under warranty and that repairs would be at my cost. I have contacted Ford corporate customer service to escalate and am awaiting a response.

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while the vehicle was stationary, the front driver's side seat belt latch failed to unlatch. The release button was depressed several times for the seat belt to unlatch. The contact stated that after the seat belt was finally unlatched it has failed to relatch. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the local dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 132,000.

My two sons were turning left when they were t-boned by another vehicle. My sons vehicle was struck in the right rear. The side air bags went off but not the two fronts. Also their seat belts did not tighten. Bc of this both sons suffered tbi's, one very severe and is still recovering. The other required brain surgery. I am so upset that their seat belt did not tighten. I bought a newer Ford thinking it was going to be safe. Please someone fix this defect. I had no idea that this could ever happen. They were hit from the other person going 45 mph so it should have tightened. Sad momma. Motor mounts are bad and makes the engine rattle and vibrate tail light will not work I've changed fuse bulb and sockets still nothing and driver seat belt gets stuck.

The driver seat belt gets stuck alot and is very hard to disconnect, the car won't go in reverse and it is part of a clutch recall Ford won't honor it it's been replaced twice already,.

Check engine light came on yesterday out of nowhere. Car started jerking bad as I took off. Slowly but getting worse til I had to stop. Then didn't wanna crank back up. Strange. So we hear a loud ticking noise . . This is with keys out of the car ignition. . . . I put keys in , still nothing. Eventually it crank but no reverse. God help me!!!!!!!!!!!.

I have tested this many times, and yielded the same result. When the drivers seatbelt is unbuckled whilst in motion, there is no light or audible alarm until you come to a full and complete stop.

The airbag sign comes on and there is nothing we with the vehicular, it also states the safebelt needs to be serviced.

My seat belt on the drivers side would not unlock after several minutes I looked more closely and I was able to unlock it. . . But now it will not lock . . . It is not latching like a spring or something isnt working. . . I was stationary trying to exit my car at my apartment.

Tl-the contact owns a 2014 Ford Focus. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 16v643000 (latches, linkages, locks) and 18v735000 (fuel system gasoline). However, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Ford fitzgerald 161 benjamin h hill dr w, fitzgerald, GA 31750 (229) 423-8787 was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and were not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. (parts distribution disconnect). Jw.

I was turning left on a yellow light in a busy intersection during rush hour. The car opposite of mine was not paying attention and hit the bumper of my car. My air bag did not go off and my seat belt doesn't pull out the way it should now.

Every time my Ford Focus shifts from 1st-2nd or 2nd-3rd the entire car not only shutters but its extremely sluggish and seems like it's going to stall out. (automatic transmission) there are no warning light lit on my dash and the car barely has 56,000 miles on it. When I bought the car it had 35,000 miles and the problem existed then and has progressively gotten worse. Yesterday I was at a yield sign to enter the round about near my house and when I pressed the gass my car shuttered horribly and only went forward a few feet, I was nearly struck by a truck that had to suddenly swerve to keep from hitting us. I took my foot off the gas. When I pressed it again, this time with more force, it shuttered and jerked so hard it forcefully threw my head back against the seat! my 5yr old daughter that was in the back seat was crying uncontrollably, scared because we were almost hit by a truck! the seatbelts in the backseat of my car, have came unbuckled several times while my 2yr old and 5yr old children were in their carseats. When I attempt to rebuckle them it takes about 15- 20 minutes of my consistently trying to get the buckle to latch onto the seatbelts!.

Car had problems with driver seat not clothing in right and sometimes moves back while driving. Seatbelts do not want to click right and have to push in multiple times before you can fasten belts. While trying to accelerate the transmission stalls and jerks forward and vehicle sometimes shakes while driving. Does not want to pick up sorry either.

Tl the contact owns a 2009 Ford Focus. The contact stated that the passenger seat belt would not lock and remain secure. The failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 187,000.

Tl the contact owns a 2013 Ford Focus. While driving 20 mph, the driver side seat belt unintentionally unlatched. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 193,000.

I bought the car in March of 2018 with 34,600 miles. It was shifting oddly when I purchased the car, called the dealership value motors in new orleans, lawhere it was purchased. He said that it was normal due to the transmission type. A few weeks later I pulled the carfax report and saw that my transmission was serviced for the transmission control module. . While accelerating from a complete stop, the vehicle jerk sand stutters all the time. Theres no warning indicator illuminated. �now shutters shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Rpms get really high before the car actually takes off. I brought the car to a Ford dealership (robinson brothers baton rouge) today 10/01/2018 was told I need a new clutch. My car has 46,417 miles and I was told it is not covered under any warranty because it was manufacured September 15, 2013 . Its 1692. 44 before taxes. I called Fords customer service and they said they couldnt do anything to help. This car is very scary to drive. To make matters worse, I have trouble buckling the rear driverside seatbelt at times &I have 3 small children and I feel like the car is unsafe for them and me.

30 mph car crash, in a city environment. The front end of my car was completely destroyed and airbags didn't deploy nor did my seat belts lock during hard braking, as I crashed into a truck. My body went forward and my head struck the streering wheel, resulting in a concussion. I provided a photo of the crash and have more including photos of inside of the vehicle with no airbag deployment.

Rear passenger side seat belt does not retract properly. The seat belt has barely been used over the life of the vehicle, so this is not a wear issue. Took vehicle to Ford dealer in washington, mo, and they stated the seat belt mechanism would need to be replaced--cost was about $500. Too much for a seat belt that barely gets used.

"takata recall" the passenger seat is not registering that there's someone sitting there who 5'5" and weighs almost 135 pounds and is wearing his seatbelt. So the airbag light on the bottom right of the center console comes on and says "passenger airbag off" and the yellow airbag light stays lit up on the drivers dashboard until the car is shut off, all with someone who's big enough for the airbag sensor to know he's sitting there. All vehicles he sits in that have sensors for airbags for the front passenger seat always read that he's sitting there, so I know he's big enough to set the sensor off and for it yo know he's sitting there and to activate the passenger airbag. Pictures are of the yellow airbag light on the drivers, the center console "passenger airbag off", and a few showing where he's sitting in the seat and both the yellow lights are still on. The yellow lights are only on when the vehicle is running, in motion, on highway, stopped, on city streets, turning, and going forward. "takata recall" the drivers seat belt stays pushed in when you push the red release button to take off your seatbelt. Unlike the front passenger seatbelt and the three back seatbelts that all four completely release when you undo your seatbelt, none of them stay pressed in they all fully release. The 1st picture is the front passenger seatbelt release, 2nd picture is the back passenger & back middle seatbelt releases, 3rd picture is the back drivers seatbelt seatbelt release, & the 4th & 5th pictures are the front seatbelt release from two different angles showing how it's still pushed in & not fully released even though the seatbelt is unbuckled so the button should be fully released.

My seatbelt hardly ever buckles. I've had to jam it a few times in order for it to finally click. My stairwell has never been aligned with my tires, and my brakes were always janky.

The vehicle was parked, with no damage to the vehicle. Our front driver side seat belt latch quit working properly. My husband which is an average size guy almost got stuck. The rear driver side seat belt latch is not working either. It stopped working about a year after owning the car. We have to shove a card in it to put the red button back out.

Bought a 2005 Ford Focus in April, 2018. Told sales man that airbag engine light remains on. Was told is ok. On 6/112018, called customer service Ford coporate spoke with a lady. She ask for VIN number, I gave it to her. She said 2005 Focus has no airbag recall. I told her that air bag light stays on since we bought the car. She didn't take interest on that. I asked her what company made 2005 Ford Focus airbag? she would not tell me. I called local Ford dealer in wesley chapel FL. Told service tech same thing that I told coporate of engine light airbag always stays on. He too said is nothing. That VIN number is no recall. I asked him as well which company put airbags in 2005 Focus, was it tahkata? he too wouldn't answer me. So I email mr. W. Ford to explain above situation with airbag light and who placed air bags in 2005 Focus. Have not heard from him or his office, explained to mr. Ford, that airbag light being always on and his dealers want to charge me $200 to check engine light is absurd. When this is a national safety recall. That we as their paying customers deserve an answer and better treatment. Can you please tell me if this is a safety violation? would like to hear from you. Thank you. J. James smith.

Passenger seatbelt popped when putting it on. It will not work now and not under bumper to bumper warranty.
