2005 Ford Focus zx4 flat tire was caused by the wheel cover hitting the valve stem. Consumer states that the wheel cover is bending the valve stem . All 4 of the wheel covers were rotating on the wheels . The dealer used epoxy glue to fasten the wheel covers to the wheels. Three of the covers stuck, but the fourth continued to rotate.

2005 Ford Focus, has lost to 7 spoke wheel covers in 3 months.
2002 Ford Focus zx5- one of the center caps on the 16" wheels fell off while driving the vehicle. The caps are defective since the tabs that hold it onto the wheel seem to just break off (cheap). The cap covers the lug nuts.

The cap which presses on over the lug nut on the wheel was just pressed on, and came off easily. Consumer stated there 3 caps were lost while driving the vehicle.
Consumer contacted dealer for recall 00v303000, and parts were not available for a month. Consumer felt unsafe driving vehicle.

Consumer received a recall letter. Contacted dealer , and they said parts would not be available until next week. 3 weeks went by and no parts.
Nhtsa recall 00v303000/ manufacturer's recall 00s31. Dealer cannot get reacall parts until Feb 2001, rear wheel hub nuts.
Recall 00v303000/ wheels: cap: cover: hub. After vehicle was repaired under recall wheel began to shake. Dealer has since repaired vehicle.
