The contact owns a 2006 Ford Freestar. The contact stated that the air conditioning only works properly while driving over 60 mph. The air conditioning does not work at all below 60 mph. The dealer stated that the o-ring compressor failed and caused metal to grind, which inevitably caused the air conditioning to fail. The vehicle has not been repaired because the cost exceeded $1,500. The manufacturer would not assist. The current and failure mileages were 56,000.
