The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who determined that the exhaust manifold valve was stuck in the open position. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the independent mechanic, who again determined that the exhaust manifold valve was stuck in the open position. The vehicle was not repaired.
