general problems of the 2015 Ford Fusion

I've already submitted this complaint before and nothing is done by it and investigator investigated this but I'm still continuing to have this problem and Ford will not fix the issue unless I spend thousands of dollars. I am having an issue with the safety airbag system the ac system not working the windows do not work, passenger windows don't work , ac control system doesn't function. . .

I brought a 2015 Ford Fusion and the airbags was missing as well as unrepairable overheating issues in the engine. I replaced the whole cooling system and the reason for overheating still can’t be determined. I brought the car for $5000 and had $3000 of work done and it is still not drivable. The dealer refused to fix it or give a refund. I still have not been able to drive the car.

1. Air bag-control module :p&a rcm failed. 2. Control module not working that's mean upon impact the sensors will send the signal to the control module ,but the module will not be able to initiate the deployment of the airbags,putting the passengers of the vehicles at risk. 3. Yes the component been inspected by Ford dealership . 4. Yes airbag lamp is on. A month ago the lamp is on.

On may 15, 2023 I got in my car, proceeded to drive off when I noticed that the airbag light was still illuminated on the instrument panel. I notified the dealership the next day and dropped my car off on may 17, 2023. On may 19 a diagnostics test was run and revealed that I had a faulty seat belt buckle. I declined service on the car. This was shocking to me since I took my car to them less than 4000 miles and less than a year ago for the airbag light staying on again in 2022. At that time it was revealed that it was the passenger seat position sensor & it was repaired. In 2020 my car was also a part of recall 19s25 for the seat belt. In 2018 repairs were also done on my car due to the airbag light coming on as well. I'm driving the car but now don't know if it is safe to drive. When I picked up the car, the light was still on but about 4-5 days later the light went off by itself. The passenger seat has barely been used since I purchased the car in 2015. After the repairs were done in 2022, the seat/seat belt has not been used so I don't understand how it can be faulty. It seems to me that there's a defect somewhere and it should be investigated. I would appreciate if this is given serious consideration. When I spoke with Ford motor company, they told me to contact you to have you investigate the matter. While driving the the lights and sound came on with service advance trac and hill start assist not available. Then the check engine light comes on flash and I can’t accelerate next it drags no pickup of speed. I took it back to the dealership after I got a recall done and these lights came on but they couldn’t find anything wrong to repair my car sat for days with no loaner or call back I’m still paying for this car monthly. I felt something moving as I tried to press on the gas pedal. Please assist.

There were no warning lights illuminated. The air bags deployed emitting debris, and her right hand was broken, burned, and scared. The ambulance took her to the hospital, where she received medical attention. The contact noticed smoke inside the vehicle. A police report was filed. There were no reported fire. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot. The vehicle was deemed a total loss by the insurance company. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted.  the failure mileage was approximately 115,000.

Was hit in a head on collision and air bags did not deploy.

Randomly and without warning, the entire climate control system shuts off as well as the entire center console. The only message during this period is "temporarily lost communication with climate control". When all this shuts off, the drivers side controls for the windows becomes inoperative as well as the passenger side lock/unlock button. This renders a safety hazard because during times of heat and cold it becomes impossible to run the climate control or roll the windows down for any air movement. Also an extreme hazard is the passenger is unable to unlock the doors in even of an emergency. Occasionally when this happens, the air bag light will illuminate, causing unknown safety hazards in that aspect. I have contacted the dealership and was told it sounds like a potentially faulty computer module, or faulty wiring that could cost thousands to repair. The issue occurs 80% of the time the car is in operation and seems to happen more on hot days where it becomes critical to have air movement/ac.

I have a 2015 Ford Fusion with around 37000miles. But the sealing between air bag and passenger side dashboard are broken. I'm afraid that the air bag might pumped out under normal condition if the cracks are too big. I think it could be quality issue. It could be very dangerous and put our lives at risk. Besides that, there was no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. I called Ford customer service, they said that it could be their quality problem. However, they won't take the responsibility because they don't have recall for that issue. I think it put mine and my family's lives at risk, and I do need to bring attention.

While iam driving some time air bags image light up on the speedometer, collision warning will also light up and steering getting tighter . This is happening while iam driving on the streets and some time its happening on freeway too.

The contact dropped the vehicle off at new brighton Ford (1100 silver lake rd NW, new brighton, mn 55112, (651) 633-9010) to be repaired. The contact was not given a direct answer as to when the vehicle would be ready. The contact spoke with a manager at the dealer and was informed that someone would contact her to reschedule the repair. The contact had not yet heard back from anyone. The manufacturer was not contacted. The contact had not experienced a failure.

�takata recall� on 6 Feb 2019, my son was cut off by another driver causing him to hydroplane off of the highway and through a ditch, making contact with a tree. The Fusion suffered moderate damage to the front end, and undercarriage. None of the air bags in the vehicle deployed even with the front end removed. My insurance company is totaling the car making my wife and I to wonder why our son was not protected by the airbag? it clearly should have deployed given the force of the impact. I have seen that there was a class action lawsuit for this in October of 2018. Is this case still open?.

Takata recall - I was involved in an accident 1/26/19. Big Ford truck hit me in my passenger side about the middle of the car toward the rear. It sent my car into a complete 360 spin across 2 lanes of traffic. No air bags deployed. My car has been totalled and both insurances dealt with advised me to find out why not. My car currently does not have a takata recall according to website. Possible it should be included.

Brakes, emergency brake, brake switchs. Backup camera turns black while backing up. And yes it’s available for inspection. Car keeps braking and jerking in the other lane by itself. Emergency brake kept coming on by itself randomly. Also I almost hit someone when my back up camera went black. Yes the problem have been confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. Yes it have been inspected manufactures police and insurance representatives. Yes ever single light came on. Advanctrac light. Brake light, emergency break light, abs light and traction control light and tpms and airbags light.

Takata recall involving the air bag.

"takata recall" in addition to this recall, I have 2 outstanding recalls with a refusal to work on a misfire and engine issues. My car has shut down with no warning on the road, misfiring with no warning, and no information on these common engine failures was given to me. No proof has been given of issues and am being forced into purchasing a new engine. I have been refused all help and have been waiting about a month for answers.

I was driving my car at the day time and I wanted to avoid a deer crossing the road, the car steering wheel locked up and could not turned the wheel. Consequently, the car hits a tree and got totally damage. When the car hits the tree, the airbags deployed but did not stay inflated, but instead deployed deflated. I was seriously injuried and got transported to the trauma center in atlanta for examination. The reason I am reporting this complain is that my car Ford Fusion 2015 is on recall by Ford company. On may 22/2018, I took the car to the Ford dealership located in the city I live to fixed the problem. The same day the company called me that the problem is fixed and the car needs to be pick up. What I did. My accident happened on the third day after the work. So, I did not know if the real problem is fixed. If yes, why the steering wheel is locked and I couldn,t control the car? before the accident, I often avoid deers on the raod and nothing happened. Why the accident happened at this time? after the accident, the police came and the rescue team came to the place and they will made the reports to the insurance company for claims. But I have to do this to the official department to investigate the problem and to take the appropriate action against Ford company. This will save other citizen live on the road. Thanksto be to the god that I am alive. I got minor injuries on my arms but feel pains in some parts of my body. The doctor prescribed some pain killers tha I am using now. The exam did not show any internal problem but I have to be monitorized for eventual issues. I am a student I could not go to school at this moment. This issue is serious and need to be taken seriously. The car could not be fixed and run. My insurance will do the rest but I am very concerned about the the amount of the bills that gonna come out. The passengers air bag will not turn on for my 5"4 105lb wife when she sits in the seat. Ford / the dealer claim it may break her neck; I don't think so. She has a functioning airbag in her Toyota sai (in japan).

Was rear ended turning off mountain highway by an f350 and a van hit the truck that hit me, he was going at least 50 miles an hour when he hit me felt like he shoved me so hard I was airborne!!! no airbag went off which the officer who was on a witness to the accident and then stopped and made sure everyone was ok !! my body still hurts !!.

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called the dealer (mike murphy Ford inc, 565 w jackson st, morton, IL 61550, (309) 263-2311) where it was confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available. Parts distribution disconnect.

As I was driving down the road at 20 mph, the center of my steering wheel and all components fell out and was hanging by a wire.
