First, we will start with every time I turn my car to the left the steering wheel box and the brakes skid then the abs sensor comes on then we will start with the car every time I put it into a gear. It automatically goes back to park, and I cannot move the car in any direction. When the issue first started, I could reverse then when I put the car and drive in the middle of the street it would automatically go back to park which could cause a crash I only have video proof of this.
I have a 2019 Ford Fusion turbo engine and everytime I accelerate the turbo is wicking into the pcm the control module which is causing hazards sucking as at random times whenever I turn left the steering wheel with get stuck and the brakes will lock for a couple seconds and then go back to normal. I had meineke do a diagnostic on the car and they showed oil in the pcm aswell as the loss of connection between the pcm and its sensors. They drove the car and while driving the car going 20mph the car is reading as going 100.
The vehicle wheels and steering wheel bounce and shake when brakes are applied, regardless of the speed level; this felt like I am losing control of the vehicle and as if the wheels, and components of suspension or brake system will collapse all of the sudden. No warning lights came up in the dashboard. The vehicle was inspected by the dealership (kearny mesa Ford service, 7303 clairemont mesa blvd, san diego, CA 92111) and they confirmed the problem, the problem still persisted after they performed checks and repairs, their response was "we are not sure what's causing the problem and we need more time to diagnose. ".
Thr steering wheel stopped turning. The car is not old enough to have such problems with power steering failures.
My car in February of 202: got stuck in park they said it was electrical issue, then months later I ended up with a coolant leak that then combusted my engine. New engine in August of 2023 fast forward to November 2023 my car is doing the same thing it stalled in the road with myself and newborn in the car, lost all speed and now it will not go in drive or reverse just like it did in February of 2023. It’s been in the shop twice and now ongoing it’s third time and I find this to be a severe issue because if my car is going to keep stalling while driving there is no reason to keep fixing this car. I’m aware past Fusion’s have been recalled for something of similar problems so it makes me wonder if this should be recalled as well.
While I drive my steering got stuck and stiffed. Hard to turn the wheels. Luckily when I entered my neighborhood stop the vehicle. Then I got the message from Ford pass app saying *electronic power steering control module fault and *collision warning system lost radar signal. If the steering stuck happened in highways while drive possibly life threatening issue.
While driving to work on i35 the a red message popped up on the dash saying "stop safely now" and the engine/hybrid motor instantly completely died. Steering and breaking were almost impossible because I am not a strong person and I was nearly rear ended several times. I had no chance to get to the shoulder and was blocking the lane in the middle of traffic till I was able to get someone to tow it to a side street. Completely unacceptable and very dangerous for the car to die completely like this.
My steering wheel is very loose. The steering wheel moves up and down, also the the steering wheel moves left to right. I am afraid to drive my car.
