235/45r18, the tires wander on grooved highways (groove wander). They throw the car left and right. This is a safety concern as it creates dangerous instability. Looks like the tire tread is incompatible with some road surfaces (grooved highways) and creates a safety hazard (car violently swerving at highway speeds). Wheel balancing and alignment was done to eliminate these as potential contributors. The store refuses to accept the tires for a return.

I purchased 4 x michelin sport a/s plus 225/50r17's in December of 2017 and have driven those set of tires 30,000 miles on a 45,000 mile tire. My car started wobbling and so I checked the tire and found severe wear in the inside wall/top of both of my rear tires. I had to purchase two new tires because I felt it was not safe to drive. I have included a picture and you will see there is tread left on the tire and worn uneven. I also feel these tires are faulty and could cause an accident.

My parents Ford Fusion se came with goodyear eagle LS tires. Me failed turning out of a driveway shortly after my parents took delivery on the car. In April 2017, the right front tire suddenly failed requiring both front tires to be replaced. In August 2017, the new front right goodyear eagle LS tire developed bbbles on the side wall and suddenly failed necessitating another replacement. Please note that tire failed at 2,280 miles, now both goodyear eagle LS tires are bald at the shoulders just six months later. I contacted goodyear who offered us a mere $$47. 95 for one failed tire and $32. 88 for the other when these tires cost us $198/per tire. Goodyear supposedly warrants them for six years. Customer support was hostile. Because I be,I eve these tires are defective, I wanted four new tires. Goodyear said if they did anything I'd be forced to take more goodyear tires. I paid for four new michelin tires to protect my family. We only have 28,138 miles on this car but have had to replace six goodyear eagle LS tires for sudden failure. Why on earth haven't they been recalled.
From the beginning I have vibration in the steering wheel at various speeds some at 40 mph and from 70-75 mph. At my last service they did rebalance the tires which helped slightly but not totally.
Factory oem goodyear eagle LS-2s claim to be all season. From the first test drive these tires failed to have anything close to reasonable traction on snow and ice, resulting in the sales-rep being barely able to back the car out of the lot for a test-drive. Needless to say I wasn't thrilled about them. After getting the car onto the road, it seemed to do better, so I went ahead and purchased the vehicle. After owning it for less than 48 hours, had several incidents with stopping, cornering and acceleration where the traction control, anti-lock breaks all functioning normally, just the tires not having any sort of reasonable grip or traction. In one instance, I slid through an intersection when trying to stop at 5mph. In another instance it took me most of a minute to go through a single-lane intersection because the front tires were turning so slowly because the traction control was stuttering the wheel turn as the tires kept losing grip/traction. Repeated complaints through the sales and service department, even with the sales people admitting the tires were bad for winter and the service manager flat out saying, and I quote, "those ls2s are shit for winter", nothing was done to replace them with a comparable tire that was a true all-season tire. Complaining to the factory only nets me repeated instructions to pay Ford to do a diagnostic on the car, refusing to even focus on the tire problem. These tires from goodyear should never have been allowed to be marked as all-season. At best they are fair-weather spring/summer/fall tires, at worst, they are dry area summer only tires. Like others, I've had issues with traction on just wet roads, let alone snowy or icy.
I have just had this fixed 2 weeks ago for the same problem. January 24, 2013 my power steering and advance trac light came on again. I took it to the mechanics today and they tell me that the tires may need to be replaced and I have even done 60,000 miles on the tires-yet they are worn out already. I knew I needed tires, my inspection is due next month. I have only had this car for 3 years and I am already having problems with it. I'm angry! I thought Fords were better built now-a-days. Wrong. . . . . . . . . . . . I'm so disappointed with this car. Fairly new and having what I consider major problem.

I sent my wife to a firestone store to get a set of all season tires. What was sold to her is not effective in adverse weather and I believe that firestone bridgestone is falsely marketing a performance tire as all season. The tire is a potent re970 pole position as.

Driving to work like any other day, suddenly I heard a pop. Wasn't too sure what it was but then my tire pressure low message popped up. After realizing what it was, I had to call roadside assistance to change it out and I examined the tire and saw that the outside wall was tore up and there wasn't any holes in the tread.

The vehicle was taken to an independent tire shop where the contact was advised that the tires were not under warranty. The four tires were not replaced. I have a 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid which I love driving and I believe it is one of the best cars out there. The problem is with 12,000 miles on the car the tires were wearing out very fast and at 18,000 they were worn where it wasn't safe to drive the car. I had to buy new tires. The dealer said there was no warranty on the tires and they wanted $1182. 00 for replacement ones. Mind you, I buy the three year full maintenance on the vehicle as well. I heard from other Fusion drivers that even buying new tires, the wear is very fast. Something is very wrong here and Ford is not admitting it.
The contact owns a 2007 Ford Fusion with michelin weatherwise rear tires, line size p205/60/t16, serial numbers wea28z and wea28x. The contact stated that the tires would wobble excessively when driving any speed. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic who examined the tires and discovered that the tire belts were failing and causing the tires to become out of round. The rear tires were replaced. The tire failure mileage was 19,000. The vehicle failure and current mileage was 43,379. The VIN was not available.
Leased a new 2010 Ford Fusion on 1/30/10. I had 2 tire issued with this vehicle. Flat left rear on about 5/17/11 with 5349 miles which was pluged and a blow out on a highway on about 11/17/2010 which was so bad I had to replace the tire (not over 10,000 miles) I beleave there is a problem with this group of tires.
My wife and I rented a 2008 Ford Fusion from thrifty car rental on April 20, 2009. I became concerned having hearing a progressive noise emanating from the rear of the vehicle. Arriving in orlando FL I had the vehicle looked at by a service station. I was informed that the rear tires where unsafe. Thrifty office was informed and had no explanation. I took pictures of these tires. At 75 mph my wife and I could have been killed if these tires had ruptured!!!!.

: the contact stated while driving the tires suddenly became flat on the passenger side. There were no potholes or foreign objects that may have punctured the tires. The dealer recently checked the tire pressure two weeks ago and there was no need for even a rotation of the tires. There was also no vibration while driving prior to this incident. The tires were observed prior to the incident and there were no signs of failure or budging. The contact expressed being nervous because of the two tires going flat at the same time with no apparent warning. The dealer stated both rims were bent. Updated 08/22/06.
