This vehicle started overheating and the radiator is leaking and it has been in for service regularly and nothing is ever found. This is an issue a lot of people have yet there is no recall under my VIN. I can not drive the car and it goes to limp mode, this car is barely 5 years old.
My 2014 Ford fusion had motor mounts go out on it, I'm being told that it is not covered under my manufacturer warranty. I'm not exactly sure how that is not covered. I've had nothing but problems with this car it's been to the dealer probably about 53 of the five times it's been in for the cross traffic s I'm not exactly sure how that is not covered. I've had nothing but problems with this car it's been to the dealer probably about 53 of the five times it's been in for the cross traffic sensor malfunction and yet again it still is showing malfunction I am so close to filing a lemon law on this vehicle it's a 2014 with 60,000 miles and I can't even trust it to get me to and from work anymore. Worst purchase of my life. Back to the motor mounts I was leaving work put the car in reverse and when I was backing up I felt a major vibration I got out and checked everything started rocking the car back-and-forth by hand and realize the engine was moving abruptly took it to the dealer where I was told it is not covered by my warranty and I will have to pay approximately $395 and cover my own rental car it just doesn't seem fair, also had to pay to have a new steering wheel and but put on before the recall came out, and was told I can't get reimbursed because it was 6 months before the recall was issued.
Safely stop now displayed on the message center left screen with no prior warning. The car immediately started to loose acceleration speed on jefferson avenue and I was able to pull off the road after exiting the interstate I 64 onto the main road of 45 mph speed limit. The car automatically reduced speed to 25 mph to 2 mph. I parked the car in a nearby car dealership parking lot and had to have the car towed to the dealership as of July 27th and have not received a return call to find out what is causing this dangerous situation that could have caused a major accident if I was on the interstate and could not pull over safely.
Driving down rural residential area road at night. Car illuminated "stop safely now" warning and lost power. Car stalled and would not re-start leaving me stranded. Tow truck was called and picked up car. Dealer reported that car blew 125 amp fuse and several electrical components damaged. This occurred approximately two weeks after car's leaky transmission was repaired. Car still in service department.
Vehicle was on cruise control (65 mph), tapped brakes to slow around a curve, vehicle lost power(curve left ). No indicator lights came on, coasted to stop on shoulder. Turned off ignition. Restarted vehicle, resumed trip.
While on an exit ramp, my right knee lightly touched the key fob and rolled the ignition into the acc position. I have contacted my dealer and Ford and they have opened a case. I have a video of me replicating the incident twice in 35 seconds. The video has been sent to my Ford dealer and to Ford as well. The service manager at don wood Ford in athens, ohio took a test drive with me at the request of Ford corporate hq and I replicated the event 2x for him. Ford states that they have no record of similar incidents and want to replace my ignition. When it does happen, a warning chime and "transmission not in park" appears on the control panel, you have to put the car in neutral, turn the key to run and then place the car back into drive contact me below if you would like to see the video.
