One problem related to bumper has been reported for the 1999 Ford Mustang. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Bumper mounting bracket is poorly designed and once the integrity of one of the bracket tabs is compromised, the whole bumper will fall off with time due to the additional stress on the other bracket tabs. Had I not taken it in to be repainted (due to factory defective paint job), the bumper would have come off while driving. I now have to purchase a new front bumper because the warranty will not cover it. The mounting brackets should be reinforced or redesigned.
