I was driving down the interstate in when my accelerator started to stick and floor it, brakes were doing nothing so I threw it into neutral and eventually with much effort we came to a stop on the side of the road. When the accelerator stuck the passenger airbag also turned on the light saying it turned off. When finally stop and the car off the accelerator was stuck to the ground and it took a few tries to get the car to turn on. Very dangerous and has never done this before.

I was involved in a crash after my accelerator got stuck on a 2007 Ford Mustang v6. I had just left my house when I slowly accelerated and all of the sudden the pedal got stuck and was unable to stop until I crashed into a neighbor's rock wall. Pedal still stuck until car put in gear. Still scared to drive car to Ford house. While driving this 2007 Ford Mustang on 2/13/2010, the accelerator pedal stuck at full throttle. Stayed stuck for 3-5 seconds. Car was going in excess of 80mph. Before it released. I am a very experienced driver, and feel that this could of been a very bad situation if someone less experienced was driving.
