Accident after side swiping cattle guard, flew off the road at 70mph, landing roughly, and bouncing off desert terrain, trying to control crash outcome, realign no brakes, and no way to slow down vehicle, except no acceleration, and turned away from homes and power poles, to eventually slam into a a higher terrain, until complete stop. My repaired airbags didn't deploy, and at that speed, my passenger side wheels were shattered, tires flat, face hit the steering wheel and windshield, my knees hit dashboard, arms bounced off off everything the seat belt couldn't protect me from. Because of airbag failure to deploy, I ended up with 2 fractures, t9 and l1, 6 lose teeth making front teeth unable to use, and 2 cervical discs pushing into spinal column. I have medicaid for insurance, and they will not do the surgery on my neck, so I have permanent nerve damage to my arms and hands, and the rest of my life to avoid any falls, or sudden injury to these areas so I can exist as a cripple, all because the safety equipment mandated by you, failed or was non existent. I had basic motor insurance coverage and no medical for me. What do you propose I do, with what's left of my car and my body parts, to continue existing in this life? why have safety regulations when the equipment is knowingly defective, and costly, with no recourse in case something happens, before you as owner, are aware of it. I'm so pissed off to discover I own a vehicle, or paid for vehicle, that tried to kill me.
Takata recall air bags need to be replaced. I received a letter saying I need my air bags replaced.
Takata recall. Have called for 6 months to classic Ford Lincoln of columbia and been unable to get the part serviced. Called with the Ford customer care team on the line and they hung up and would not pick up when the agent redialed this morning. She instead called dick smith Ford of columbia who is also unable to schedule and says it's first come first server at the top of every month. The fact you are not supposed to drive the car, but are unable to actually get the issue addressed is ridiculous.

Ford has lied about the replacement and should correct the information they sent.

Takata recall - Ford has sent a letter stating that the passenger seat may not be used until further notice. It is difficult to see this letter as anything other than a disingenuous attempt to shift their liability to the owner especially as their website as of today is in conflict with the letter stating, your vehicle is affected by a takata airbags recall. Parts are not yet available, but your vehicle is safe to drive in the meantime. this issue has been in play for almost two years and involves a threat of serious injury or death to myself and my family. I require a straightforward, clear response. Please see my letter to Ford attached. Thank you.
Takata recall. I have received a letter from Ford advising to not allow anyone is sit in the first row passenger seat causing injury or death. What good is a car if you cant use the front passenger seat?.
Takata recall - this recall was initiated on June 1, 2016 which is now well over a year ago. We have tried that entire time to have this fixed, but the dealers tell us the parts are not yet available. Since this causes death, I am very concerned with driving this car and the possibility of the airbag deploying and killing someone needlessly. I don't understand why the recall does not have a remedy for it when other cars have a safe deplolyment. Why can't the takata recall replace the current airbag with one that is installed on other makes and models to ensure a safe drive? this recall should be a priority!.

Takata recall - we have had this recall since June 2016. Tried multiple times to contact several dealers and have called Ford. I am told there is no part to correct situation at this time! takata is out of business and that they have to make the part themselves to correct. No end in sight! there has not been an incident at this point but we would like our recall corrected! it has been almost 18 months!.
Takata recall: #16s26. Notice of recall received in July 2016. It is now December 2017. Isn't 1 1/2 years long enough to be subjected to a possible fatal situation? there has not been any action involving my vehicle.
Airbag recall is over a year old. Passenger airbag still not available for replacement.
Takata recall I received a safety recall notice several years ago regarding my 2008 Ford Mustang. I have repeatedly called the dealer where I bought my car, as well as other dealers in my area trying to get the airbag replaced/repaired. All of the dealerships said they didn't have parts, that parts were on back order and would be in next few months. I got this same speech every time I called. I called my dealer at least once per month. Its has been over 2 years and my airbag has not been replaced. I have called Ford motor company several times as well. Last week a received a legal notice regarding takata airbag company filing chapter 11 bankruptcy. I am driving in a potentially dangerous car. I've had my car for 9 years. I have been trying to sell it or trade it in on a new vehicle for the last 2 years and have been unable to do so because no dealership or private buyer will trade or buy a car with an open safety recall. Also, Ford motor company advised me that it is illegal to sell a car with an open safety recall. Until I receive a replacement airbag, I am not able to sell or trade. All the while, my car is depreciating in value. This issue has created a personal and financial loss to me and is putting my life in danger when I drive the car.
Takata recall - it is completely unacceptable that shrapnel could kill me instead of the accident via air bag deployment and no parts are available over two years later?? this needs immediate action for replacement!.
Takata recall, it is now going on a year and a half and since recall and no replacement airbag.
I received a notice of airbag recall safety recall 16s26 for passenger airbag replacement. I have called advantage Ford several times in July and again today trying to get this recall done. Today I was told that the parts are still not in and they will call me when they come in.
Tajata recall. Ford notified me in July 2016 that the air bags could cause injury or death and needed to be repaired or replace. To date, October 30, 2017, they can not effect the repair. I called a dealer today and was told the parts are not available and will not be for some time. I cannot use the car without undue stress.
Takata recall - recall from Ford motor company dated June 1 2016. 16+ months later and there is still no remedy for this safety recall from Ford. I don't believe this is being addressed in a "timely manner".
Tl- takata recall. The contact owns a 2008 Ford Mustang. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number:17v024000 (air bags) however, the part needed for the repair was not available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and made aware of the issue and informed the contact that the dealer will contact him when the part become available. We were informed of the recall for the airbags over a year ago and still there are no replacmeents available.
Takata recall I am very dissatisfied with the extent of time that is taking to replace these parts on Ford vehicles. I know of Chrysler vehicles of equal age that have had both the driver and passenger airbag replaced, yet only the driver has been replaced in my Ford. I am in a high humidity zone and would like to get my vehicle passenger airbag replaced in a timely manner. I feel as though this issue is being greatly dismissed.
Takata recall - the Ford dealership claims that the parts to complete the recall have not been available for the past year and may never be available. (dealership is clinton family Ford in rock hill, SC). Never being able to fix the vehicle is not what the public is being told.
I bought my Mustang from napleton's in arlington heights,IL. I was told that they couldn't give me a car fax because they were running low on paper. I just received a recall in the mail from 2016 about airbag. I'm not sure if what the carfax is on my car because they told me to get one off the internet not knowing I'd have to pay for it. There was no disclosure that this Mustang had a recall that can cause serious injuries or death. I need help I don't know what to do. You can look at yelp and read about napleton's in arlington heights IL on dundee thank you.

The contact mentioned the sale of the vehicle and the value and the manufacturer stated they were not responsible for the value of the vehicle. No further assistance was offered. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
Takata recall why has it taken almost ten years to replace the defective passenger air bag in my 2008 Mustang.
I have been getting notices for several years about my airbags. Only have one available. They seem to never get the other one. I only want to take my car in once and get both replaced at the same time. I have 2 Mustangs from the same year.
I've tried numerous time to make appointment to get the fixed no call back and put on hold every time I notified my love ones and lawyer to take immediate action if something happens to me or anyone in my vehicle for years this has gone on it's sad to go through this with nothing done. A civil suite is my next option.
Takata recall still waiting for parts after 1 year.

Takata recall recall was June of 2016 a year later and they still do not have a replacement part. This is unacceptable. I called to see when the parts would be available to perform the recall and they have no idea.
