While driving engine light came on. Driver noticed vehicle's timing was off, and it was losing power. Cause was unknown at this time. Please provide any further information.

2 Check Engine Light On problem

Whenever vehicle runs over a bump or a pothole it causes rear end to kick to the right or to the left. Dealer replaced front and rear shock, some improvements were made, but the problem still occurs. Consumer states that the vehicle oversteers when pressure is applied like during a turn, the problem seems to only occur when the left side of the vehicle hits a bump. Engine light illuminated.

3 Check Engine Light On problem

I have problems when I stop sometimes the engine stalls. I also have problems when I am on the open highway with engine running uneven it kind of skips or surges slightly. The engine light comes on and flashes at or around 4800 rpm. I have been in for service and the dealer says Ford is working on all the problems I am having. I do not want to have my Ford edge stall at a busy entersection or on the highway . Hope this helps spur someone on so I can get a faster fix for my problem. Thanks.
