The spare tire fell off the vehicle, including the hoist, while driving down the road. The frame crossmember holding the hoist is rotted through, with virtually no other rust anywhere else on the body and frame. Yes, you can come see it at any time. I have not bothered taking it to a dealership. Since no property damage occured, I did not call the police. Unable to find a replacement crossmember- this vehicle is now out of service, as only the bumper and bed mounts are holding the rear frame together.
There is rust holes in the bed of the truck.
The truck has less than 52,000 miles and the a/c has quit this is the third Ranger since 1990 the ac quits working. . . Blows hot air out is this a design flaw? seems strange that as soon as the warranty time expires, the a/c stops working it was used minimally , as I am never hard on a vehicle, and when you buy brand new you expect to get a vehicle that when you need the ac by chance it works. . . Got nowhere when checking with local dealer, only suggestion was to pay to have a look at it in service. . . Why should I pay for a service call for something that should still be working. . . Are the o rings in the compressor that cheaply made that they only hold up a few years? can't say when it quit, since I don't use it often.
