Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator problems of the 2011 Ford Ranger

I was notified in April 2021 that there was a safety issue with the driver side airbag. The notification stated that when parts were available Ford motor company would send me a letter to contact the dealer to have the repairs made. I have contacted my dealer at various times and the parts are still not available. I believe that the manufacturer has exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the repair. I have not experienced a failure. Takata recall airbag inflators released. A few small fragments struck my left hand and the side of my neck. I was going maybe 5 mph in my driveway.

"takata recall" I received a letter from Ford dated April 2018 stating that the passenger airbag inflator was now available. I called mullinax Ford in kissimmee, florida and was told that Ford has not sent the inflators to them yet. I have been waiting for over a year to have this fixed.

Takata inflators - recieved safety recall July 2016. It is September 2017. Ford still "has no parts" to fix the recall. What is the value of a recall if Ford never fixes the issue?.

Takata inflators. I received notification in the mail from NHTSA recall in July, 2016. That a safety issue exists with my vehicle. This issue concerns the airbags in my vehicle. I bought the vehicle new. All this time I have driven it unknown to me that an accident may cause me and any occupants with me serious injury or death. Fairview Ford in san bernardino, CA. States they know nothing concerning the recall. Please help me resolve this issue.

Takata recall - I received a recall notice from Ford in July 2016 stating that the passenger airbag inflator is defective and needs to be replaced. It is now August 2017 and the repair has still not been done. I contacted Ford at 800-392-3673 (as advised by your representative dawn at 888-327-4236) and was told that my vehicle is included in "zone a" but that the parts are not yet available and there is no availability date. This is taking too long, and I am beginning to wonder if it will ever happen at all.

Takata recall: safety recall notice dtd July 2016 16v-384 passenger frontal airbag inflator may rupture in the event of a crash necessitating airbag deployment. A ruptured inflator may result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants causing serious injury or death. Efforts to get Ford to fix have all failed.

Takata inflators recall was issued June 2016, and there is still no replacements available, at least in the los angeles area.
