The contact owns a 2019 Ford Ranger. The contact stated while driving 50 mph the vehicle stop accelerated without any warning, the contact was able to pull over on the side of the road. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and they stated that the spark plugs blew out with the coil and the spark plugs and the coil needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, and they stated that the vehicle was out of warranty and that there was nothing they could do. The failure mileage was 17,000.
