The contact owns a 2020 Ford Ranger. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the "pre-collision assist not available sensor blocked" message was displayed on the instrument panel. The contact stated that whenever the message was displayed with the cruise control activated, the cruise control would disengage independently. The dealer was notified of the issue but offered no assistance. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
