I have had my truck in the shop 15 times for the same thing, all they tell me is there is nothing wrong, and I still cant drive it !!!! I have spent over $3,000 on rental cars, can you please help me???????????????3000. No safety defect stated.

3 Steering Linkages problem of the 1997 Ford Ranger

Failure Date: 09/09/1997

Consumer was driving at approx 65 mph when heard loud noise underneath vehicle, steering wentout, could not control vehicle. Due to the defect, vehicle went off road into a open field. Took vehicle to dealership,claims nut in washer felloff which caused the pitman arm to do the same. Dealer had to restall a new one.
