Two problems related to vehicle overheat have been reported for the 1996 Ford Taurus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle would overheat while traveling. Notice coolant coming from left side of vehicle engine. Notified dealer / manufacturer, and both informed consumer that vehicle was not covered under recall or extended warranty. Please feel free to provide any further details on this matter.
Engine head gasket cracked, causing vehicle to overheat also, vehicle leaked/stalled and cut off without prior warning while driving at 45 mph. Dealer is aware of the problem.
