The contact allowed the vehicle to coast and restarted it. The vehicle was then taken to an authorized dealer who could not duplicate the failure. The failure occurred again after the cruise control had been deactivated. The contact called the manufacturer who advised him to take the vehicle to the dealer. The vehicle had not been repaired.
