The 2013 Taurus has right at 60,000 miles on it and is maintained regularly at the local dealership. I've never been notified of this recall for the steering epas system failing, but it happened last week. Without notice or warning, as we backed out of the garage, the vehicle lost power steering capability and turning it off and restarting did not fix the issue. As I pulled back in the stability control warning light came on indicating failure of that system as well.

Without warning and while driving ,the steering was very very very hard to steer in yhe proper direction almost causing a head on collision at 50 mph and the oncoming traffic aswell 45mph plus = 95 to 100 mph collision on a two lane two direction highway. When this occurred the power steering info came on said service power steering now and stability control system light came on.
Ive had this car for 2 months already. I pulled out of my house, drove thru my street and when I came to a stop in a intersection my car stopped completely and the wheel became hard and was not able to turn it or press on the gas pedal. The engine light, electronic stability control active light and battery alert light came on at the same time. Also it alerted me I was low on gas witch I had half a tank of gas.

Takata recalli am the owner of a 2013 Ford Taurus that I bought in 2016. It was a 1 owner no accidents and 36000 miles on it. I was never informed of any recalls by Ford or the dealership. Your website says it was fixed so I cannot see what recall out of the eight it has. I was driving to work one morning doing maybe 15mph around a right hand turn, when my passenger side tire almost fell off from being disconnected at the half shaft and link shaft. My traction stability light came on and I lost call control of the vehicle. I ended up hitting a traffic light. I had minimal cosmetic damage to the vehicle. But due to all of the powertrain work needing to be done from this the bill was over 5000$. I had to claim it on insurance and now I've been paying 5000$ a year or insurance on a car worth maybe 8000. I did not know about these recalls until recently and I am upset I was never notified because if I was doing the speed limit at 55. I would be dead. This is a hide safety concern of mine. I still have the repair bills and for hitting a stoplight at roughly 5mph could not have cause that much damage.
