Two problems related to brake pedal and linkage have been reported for the 1996 Ford Thunderbird. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake pedal sinks below the accelerator pedal level, causing driver to push down on accelerator.
On three occasions when engaging brake the throttle was inadvertently engaged too.
