Headlights problems of the 2014 Ford Transit Connect

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Transit Connect. The contact stated while driving with the low-beam headlights activated, the low-beam headlights became inoperable. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact attempted to replace the bulbs. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who informed the contact that the wiring connector was burned on the passenger’s side. The contact called another independent mechanic, but no assistance was provided. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 148,000.
