Front turn signals repeatedly stop functioning - after changing bulbs it was discovered that shorting was occurring in the headlight bucket - the problem appears to be common throughout the 4 Transit Connects in our fleet.

Lane change turn signal. Ford has vehicles with the lance change signal, where when tapping the turn signal handle, the signal flashes 3 times. In wisconsin and I assume all states, the law states that one must indicate in advance the intent of lane change or turn and continue signal until completed. Three flashes does not provide adequate warning. Should be 6-8 flashes. Contacted Ford customer service and dealer. No way to adjust the number of flashes, and customer service say's as long as working according to specs, that is all that matters.
