Two problems related to conventional parking brake have been reported for the 1996 Ford Windstar. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Parking brake did not release completely. No warning light on. Lever down. Burned up all 4 brakes and car would not stop.
Vehicle was parked and key out of ignition; v ehicle rolled across ann isle in parking lot due to emergency brake failure and stopped at a planter island.
