One problem related to car stall has been reported for the 1997 Ford Windstar. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Van lost power and stalled. Took to service center and was found to have main bearing spun and cracked block. Since warranty was over on mileage, neither the dealer nor Ford motor company will warranty or even look at it. Was told it was "lack of maintenance" that caused problem.
