Two problems related to fuel delivery have been reported for the 1998 Ford Windstar. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Problem area: wiring in gas tank-- the hose clamp inside gas tank has rubbed through the wires which power the electric pump. This caused to blow the fuse for the gas pump. *note-possible electric arc inside the gas tank.
