Front Air Bag Problems of GEO Prizm

While driving down major highway, rearended another vehicle at about 25mph. Resulting in major damage to front end, and no airbags deployed!.

In an accident vehicle rolled over several times and none of the air bags deployed on impact, causing serious injuries to driver.

An inadvertent air bag deployment upon starting vehicle. Manufacturer notified, and informed consumer of a representative being sent to inspect vehicle. Please feel free to provide any further details.

I was rearended in an accident on 10-11-00 at a stop light, which in turn pushed me into the car in front of me, I was hit at 45 miles an hour, my trunk was compacted to 6 inches. The front right side has a 2 foot area that is missing and then caught on fire, and yet my air bags didn't deploy. Either the passenger or drivers. The car was still under warranty and had no problems with the air bags that could be seen or checked. This is very trubbling to me.

While driving on back roads consumer didn't see the stop sign. There was a curve in the road, and vehicle went off the road and flipped over. Upon impact, neither airbag deployed.

Vehicle was hit from a stop position and forced into another vehicle in front. Speed of impact was undetermined, but both air bags failed to depoly. No injuries were reported. Dealer/manufacturer were not contacted at the time.

Vehicle was in a head-on collision and air bags did not depoly . Contacted dealer, and dealer did not do anything. Also, owns a 1996, Geo, Prizm, and same thing happened to that vehicle.

During low impact collision (knicked other vehicle) stucture folded due to weak material, possible false deployment of air bags (low mph), injury to consumer (head, ribs, facial) nlm.

Was driving vehicle from utah to boston; road & weather was good & clear; axle broke & left rear wheel separated from vehicle; rolled over twice onto median, also no deployment of driver's/passenger's air bags, resulting in injuries.

Dashboard cover for passenger airbag appears to be melted.

Recall repair not performed on air bags due to unavailability of part.
