The contact owns a 2014 GMC Acadia. The contact stated that after the vehicle was refueled, the fuel gauge displayed incorrectly. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was unknown.
My car ran out of gas without any warning. I looked up my VIN number and its not included in the recall however it should be included. Ive been driving for over 20 years and never ran out of gas before. There is an issue with my fuel gauge and GMC is not recalling my vehicle, and considering GMC's recent past regarding recalls I believe GMC is continuing this trend of not recalling the vehicles that it should.
The Acadia's fuel gauge just stops working and then starts again. The vehicle has a jerky motion when slowing down around any curves. . . Like the engine has to catch up.
