1 Brake Master Cylinder problem

Failure Date: 12/03/2019

Tl the contact owns a 2017 GMC Acadia. While driving approximately 25 mph, the brake fluid low and brake indicators illuminated. In addition, the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard and did not stop the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to suburban Cadillac of troy (248-643-0070, located at 1810 maplelawn dr, troy, mi 48084) where it was diagnosed that the master cylinder failed and caused brake fluid to leak into the booster pump. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the contact was not called back. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 37,500.

Failure Date: 11/07/2018

Was found brake fluid in the brake booster vacuum hose and brake booster is leaking from master cylinder and being drawn into the brake booster .
