One problem related to underhood wiring has been reported for the 2001 GMC Envoy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle stalled out on highway and died without warning due to a defective wire harness. Dealer has inspected vehicle and will replace wire harness. Everthing shut down and the message displayed on the console to check brake system. Dealership installed wire harness and new pcm.
