My son was in front passager set with a set belt on and when the Envoy rolled his set belt did not hold him on. My spouse told me the anit-lock breaks did not engage when he slam on the breaks .

I was in a mva July 22, 2015 I was tboned on the drivers side and the went headon with a light pole and my airbags never deployed. I had many problems with the electrical in the truck since I purchased the truck. It was an as is with no warranty and I wasnt given any knowledge of problems or recalls. I suffered extensive injuries to my body and my truck was a total loss $10000 in damages to the vehicle.

Driving at approx. 2:30 pm in intermittently rainy conditions- I suddenly found myself unable to control my vehicle and had trouble seeing my surroundings even though I had new rain-x wipers on. While I applied the brakes they did not work as effectively as they should. Additionally, after the first and second impact (multiple vehicles were involved)- no air bags deployed. I was the only person in the vehicle and still the drivers side air bag did not deploy. Resulted in two fatalities in another vehicle while I suffered a head injury, facial fractures that required surgery, and a broken collar bone from the seat belt that I could not afford the medical intervention required for repair.

I was driving about 40 mph when I went threw a yellow light when a older lady turn in front of me, I hit her on the passenger side between the front n back dr, , pushing n rolling n totaling her small SUV. She was not serious hurt. My airbags did not deploy. My Envoy was still driveable . I took my Envoy to my local GMC dealer to have them find prob why the airbags didn't go off, they or I called a rep for GMC, to come to sioux falls to investigate and he told me that the reason they didn't deploy was because I wasn't going fast enough for impact for deploy. I think that is bunch of bull. Can someone help me ,is there anything I can do . I hear that a person can receive cash from GMC if a person s airbags don't go off.

The contact owned a 2003 GMC Envoy xl. The contact stated that the vehicle lost control while driving 25 mph on a slightly icy roadway. As a result, the contact crashed into another vehicle and the air bags did not deploy. The contact also stated that the limited slip differential system failed to engage during the failure. The contact, as well as a passenger suffered minor injuries during the crash. In addition, the driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash suffered minor injuries. I am very concerned with replacing my auto with the same manufacturer due to the situation. I am wondering if there have been related issues. At present I am encountering headaches and stiffness which I hope to have looked at by my family physician tomorrow. My passenger has experienced the same.

While traveling at or less than 35 mph, on bright sunny day and on dry pavement vehicle would not stop, brake pedal went to the floor. Let it up and pressed it to the floor again without success. On third attempt jammed the pedal to the floor and the entire car locked up. The steering wheel wouldn't turn, at least one wheel locked, hit the car that was stopped at the stop light. Even after stopping only the service engine check light and the stop engine light illuminated. The brake pedal remained to the floor , and I couldn't not shift into park until after jamming on the pedal several times. 9000 in damage to the vehicle, including the frame had to be pulled, and yet the airbag did not deploy. 4ooo miles to the other vehicle. No injuries.

The consumer involved in a roll over accident. Upon impact, the air bags failed to deploy. The driver sustained injuries and the front passenger's seat belt failed, the passenger was ejected from the seat and was killed. The seat belt and air bag effectiveness was questionable. This complaint was not filed by the consumer. Odi followed up with the personal information provided and the consumer was not aware of this complaint. The consumer who was driving the vehicle was just released from the hospital. The consumers wife was killed in the crash and could not remember the details of the incident. Cw police department was contacted by odi. The driver lost control while traveling about 68 mph. Multiple rollover. Seat belt on pass side buckled after crash with some load marks on the webbing. Passenger side door tore from the hinge. Cause unknown. Officer investigating crash did not think a vehicle defect was responsible for the fatality. Crash extrememly severe.

My wife was in an accident with our new 2003 GMC Envoy slt, purchased in November of 2003. To avoid rear ending the car in front of her, she swerved the Envoy off of the road, down a hill and and hit a tree in the right front or passenger side of the vehicle. She hit the tree with such force that the damage to the front of the vehicle resulted in a total loss. My concern is the air bags never never deployed in this accident. I would like to know why? and I would like to know more information as to the operation of the air bag system in a GMC Envoy.
