Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problems of the 2005 GMC Envoy

Two problems related to manifold/header/muffler/tail pipe have been reported for the 2005 GMC Envoy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 09/28/2011

Exhaust manifold is cracked. Had exhaust manifold and gaskets replaced. Took 5 working days to fix. Checked on line and found many complaints on the Envoy and trailer blazer 's manifold.

2 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 09/15/2010

Exhaust manifold on Envoy 2005, 4. 2 engine. Crack in the manifold this is a serious issue and seems to be common. This issue should be a recallable item by gm. This effects our environment and safety.
