Two problems related to service brakes have been reported for the 2007 GMC Envoy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tl the contact owns a 2007 GMC Envoy. While driving various speeds, the service stabilitrak warning indicator periodically illuminated. Also, the stabilitrak active indicator periodically illuminated, which caused the vehicle to stall. When the contact released and re-applied the accelerator pedal, the stabilitrak deactivated and the vehicle functioned normally. Occasionally, when the brake pedal was depressed, the brake pedal vibrated violently and the vehicle hesitated to stop. When the vehicle was stationary and the brake pedal was depressed, the vehicle accelerated forward. Furthermore, the driver's seat was unable to move forward. When attempting to adjust the seat manually or with the power position adjuster, the seat failed to adjust until after a period of time. The vehicle was taken to bowser Buick GMC (1001 clairton blvd, pleasant hills, PA 15236, (412) 346-7929) where the contact was informed that the driver's door module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was 90,000.
At 38,000 miles on the my SUV my gauge stoped working, and ran out of gas two times. I'v had to keep an eye on how many mile I drive and fill it up every 250-300 miles. Also I'v noticed that sometimes my brake pedel stalls for a quick second. I love my vehicle but very disappointment in the problem it has in its early years and to find out the there are hunders if not thousands of people that have this same problem and gm wont issue a recall on there vehicls. It is very unsafe to dive not knowing how muck gas you still have in the tank.
